Samuel COOMBE, his wife Harriet DUNSTAN, daughter Jane and three children (Harriet, Samuel, Caroline), migrated from Frogpool, Gwennap, Cornwall to South Australia. They arrived at Adelaide on 28 Jan 1848 on the Success.

Henry COOMBE and Mary TREVENA – Gosforth - 1865
Henry Coombe and his wife Mary Trevena had at least two children who migrated to Australia. John, Mary and Elizabeth Coombe arrived in Adelaide on the Gosforth on 23 Dec 1865. The family were copper miners from Gwennap, Cornwall. Mary Trevena Coombe migrated 1871-78; she was in a Falmouth draper’s shop in the 1871 census.
Also on that ship was a man named either Joseph Coomb or Josh Coombes. It is not known if he is related.

PUZZLE: James Anthony COOMBE, son of John Henry COOMBE and Mary Ann DOIDGE (below) is understood to be buried in a family plot of the Benedictus COOMBE Lewannick family in Clunes VIC. And yet there is no apparent family connection.
